Review: Raja The Great
Starring : Ravi Teja, Mehreen Pirzada, Radika Sarath kumar, Prakash Raj, Sampath Raj, Srnivas Reddy etc
Director : Anil Ravipudi
Production : Dil Raju
Music Director : Sai Kartheek
Lucky (Mehreen) is the daughter of a sincere police officer (Prakash Raj). Due to some clashes with villains Prakash Raj gets killed. The villian also wanted to kill Lucky the she went away to Darjeeling and hides there.
While Raja ( Ravi Teja ) is a blind person who wanted to become a Police due to her mother’s wish. His mother ( Radika ) who is a part of police force assigns him the task of saving lucky. How did blind Raja rescues Lucky from villains was rest of story.
Ravi Teja as Raja is Superd and he excelled in the role of a blind guy. The way he has evoked comedy reminds of vintage Ravi Teja and his performance is the major highlight of the film. Mehreen pirzada and Radika sarath kumar have done equal justice to their roles. Ravi Teja’s son as childhood Raja is good. Posani, Thanikella barani, Siva Reddy, Hari Teja and others are Decent.
Director Anil Ravipudi has done very good job but he failed in writing an engaging screenplay although he added enough fun at regular intervals making the films quite entertaining. Sai Kartheek’s music was okay and cinematography is pretty decent and top notch production values.
Vintage Ravi Teja’s performance
Raja The Great is a typical mass movie and a nonstop entertainer. This film first half was quite entertaining and second half was decent with very good climax. Ravi Teja’s performance was main highlight of the film and if you ignore the routine story the Raja the great is the perfect diwali treat for audience and fans. Go and watch it.
